A scientifically developed composition of
flexible and highly durable layers engineered to absorb and transfers the
stresses of expansion and contraction as experienced in courts of cracked
asphalt and concrete bases. The degree of movement is naturally limited to
those factors created by changes in temperature. Degree of movement caused
by inadequate design or construction practices on situations over
"active soils" can not be calculated and may be in excess of the
systems capabilities. Reduces the need to remove and replace the existing
substrate.
Foreword
Many substrates which form the basis of a
surface on which to play recreational sports have either been severely
damaged by the elements, suffered damage from poor construction techniques
or the effects of over exposure to the elements resulting in a surface
unsuitable for conventional hard playing surfaces. Until now the only
course of acting has been to either install an over layer, replace the
substrate or to install a synthetic grass surface.
Purpose
To provide a hard court playing surface
with the ability to restrict the damage caused to conventional hard court
systems by the transfer of cracks due to either poor construction
practices or in certain situations an unstable base. Where possible to
avoid the replacement of a cracked or structurally sound base. To offer an
alternative to synthetic grass at a competitive rate.
Flexi-base provides the following:
- Controls the transfer of cracks from
damaged existing surfaces n Provides a durable non slip hard court
surface
- Provides a definite cushioning feel
under foot
- Substantially reduces player
fatigue
- Substantially reduces sporting injuries
generally experienced on conventional hard court surfaces
- Reduces the need to remove and replace
the existing surface
- Provides minimum maintenance
- Provides an economical alternative to
synthetic grass
- Suitable for a multitude of sports
